A classic early Indian Head Cent, dated 1860, representing the second year of the iconic design introduced in 1859. These early issues were struck in a distinctive copper-nickel alloy, giving them a lighter bronze tone compared to later issues.

The obverse features Lady Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, designed by U.S. Mint engraver James Barton Longacre. The reverse shows the redesigned oak wreath with shield, introduced in 1860 and used for the remainder of the series.

This example is housed in a traditional 2×2 holder and labeled VF+, showing clear central detail and strong legends.
