This is a 1922 U.S. Peace Dollar, struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features Lady Liberty with a radiant crown and the motto IN GOD WE TRVST; the reverse depicts a perched bald eagle with an olive branch above the word PEACE.
The 1922 issue was the first large-scale production year for the Peace Dollar, commemorating the end of World War I and symbolizing renewed national optimism.
